BIDDING RULES

Exotic Car Imports operates a live timed auction platform for European exotic vehicles imported to Virginia Beach, VA. By placing a bid, you agree to the following rules without exception.

ELIGIBILITY
You must be 18 years or older to bid. You must have a valid credit card on file before placing your first bid. All bidders must have a verified account in good standing.

ALL BIDS ARE BINDING
Every bid placed on Exotic Car Imports is a legally binding offer to purchase the vehicle at that price. If you are the winning bidder, you are obligated to complete the purchase. Bid retractions are not permitted under any circumstances.

BUYER’S PREMIUM
A 5% buyer’s premium is added to the final hammer price on all auctions. This fee is capped at $7,500. Example: winning bid of $80,000 = $80,000 + $4,000 buyer’s premium = $84,000 total.

HOW BIDDING WORKS
— Enter your maximum bid in the bid field and click “Bid”
— The system will automatically bid on your behalf up to your maximum
— If someone outbids you, you will receive an email notification immediately
— You may place a new higher bid at any time during the auction

ANTI-SNIPING POLICY
If a bid is placed in the final 2 minutes of an auction, the timer automatically extends by 2 minutes. This ensures all bidders have a fair opportunity to respond. Extensions continue indefinitely until no bids are placed in the final 2-minute window.

RESERVE PRICE
Some auctions have a reserve price — a confidential minimum the seller will accept. If the reserve is not met, the seller is not obligated to sell. “No Reserve” auctions sell to the highest bidder regardless of price.

WINNING THE AUCTION
The highest bidder at auction close is the winner. You will receive a “You Won” email within 15 minutes of auction close with payment instructions. The buyer’s premium is charged to your card on file within 24 hours of auction close.

VEHICLE PAYMENT
Full vehicle payment must be received within 7 business days of auction close. Accepted payment methods: bank wire transfer, Escrow.com. Personal checks and PayPal are not accepted for vehicle purchases.

FAILURE TO PAY
Failure to complete payment within 7 business days will result in account suspension, forfeiture of the buyer’s premium, and the vehicle being relisted. Legal action may be pursued for amounts owed.

VEHICLE CONDITION
All vehicles are sold as described. Exotic Car Imports makes every effort to accurately represent each vehicle through photos, video walkarounds, and written descriptions. Buyers are encouraged to conduct independent inspections prior to bidding. All sales are final.

INSPECTIONS
Buyers may arrange a pre-purchase inspection at the vehicle’s current location. Contact us at [email protected] to coordinate. Inspection costs are the buyer’s responsibility.

IMPORT & LOGISTICS
All vehicles listed on Exotic Car Imports are European-specification vehicles being imported to the United States. Import duties, customs clearance, and compliance modifications are handled by ECI and included in the shipping estimate unless otherwise stated. Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary based on shipping conditions.

DISPUTES
All disputes arising from auction transactions shall be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Exotic Car Imports reserves the right to cancel any auction or bid at its sole discretion if fraud, abuse, or technical error is suspected.
